Arnout and Sander Brinks of Tangarine have been the most well-known singing twin-brothers in the Netherlands for a decade. They sing as only identical twins can. De Volkskrant (a big dutch newspaper) says “Singing together, so beautiful that it seems to come from one mouth instead of two,”.
On June 23, 2023, their new album will be released called 'Blank Cassette'. An album that is characterized by strong melody lines and harmonies and evokes a nostalgic feeling for the west coast and soft rock of the 1970s. The record includes the singles 'Big Star', 'City to the Country' and 'On the Road', which were frequently heard on radio and TV the past year.
In 2014 Tangarine gained a great deal of popularity after being invited to perform as the official house band of ‘De Wereld Draait Door’, the number one Dutch talk show. It gave them a big visibility boost that resulted in a rapid growing fan base. Tangarine switched from pop venues to theatres to meet this new (TV-) audience and played sold out tours. In 2018, the twin brothers were also elected as ‘best dressed artists by Esquire magazine, showing their feel for fashion.
In addition to the release of the new album, Tangarine will be playing concerts in several theaters with with their tour 'Running in the Family'.
