Thalis is a fun-loving, classically trained pianist from UK - with decades of experience performing live & session work, as well as writing and recording his own material.
Spotted and mentored at a young age by international pianist and resident at The Ritz, Ian Gomes, Thalis moved to London, cutting his teeth in prestigious bars in Mayfair and Leicester Square. After landing the job of resident event pianist at Ronnie Scott’s, it was not long before he was discovered by an agency. This led to extensive travel around Britain and abroad, with residencies all over Europe.
Upon returning to England, Thalis was approached to play for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships and was booked as their sole pianist five years in a row. Given the prestigious nature of the competition and its audience – from members of the royal family to Jay-Z – Thalis met and performed for some extraordinary people.
Alongside his live work, Thalis has also enjoyed a successful recording and writing career, which has seen him work with many artists from Faithless to film-director Guy Ritchie.
