Rochester, Minnesota's F-Ups consists of vocalist/guitarist Travis Allen, guitarist Chris DeWerd, bassist Andy Collett, and drummer Taylor Nogo. Assembling in 1999 while still high schoolers, the quartet adopted a sound indebted both to veterans like <a href="spotify:artist:2yJwXpWAQOOl5XFzbCxLs9" data-name="Bad Religion">Bad Religion</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:4S2yOnmsWW97dT87yVoaSZ" data-name="NOFX">NOFX</a>, as well the giant melodies of contemporary pop-punk. A few years of local gigs and showcases paid off for the F-Ups in 2003, when Capitol took them on.
