The Hawkmen draw from an array of influences such as rhythm’n’blues, soul, and rock’n’roll which they bring together in a classic, rootsy, hybrid blend. The band emerged as a full, live act in 2017. Craig Charles is a huge fan, and has played nearly all the bands single releases on his BBC 6 Music radio show. Releases include Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover (Record Kicks), a northern soul remix of Emma Beatson’s debut single Do It (selected by Craig Charles for the second volume of his Freestyle Records compilation series), Keep On Working EP (Mocambo Records), Love Is Blind features on the Craig Charles Funk and Soul Club Vol.5 compilation (Freestyle Records). Plus two studio albums, and singles Under Your Spell, Hawkmen Stomp, Night Out In Tokyo, Baby Tonight and lots more on Greystone Records. The Baby Tonight video has now had over 1.2 million view on YouTube!
