The Montgolfier Brothers released their first album 'Seventeen Stars' in 1999 on Vespertine records. Touring in Europe followed. Seventeen Stars was re-issued on Alan McGee's post-Creation label Poptones in 2000. More touring followed, with Otto Smart as extra guitarist.
Second album, 'The World is Flat' was released by Poptones in 2002.
The 'Journey's End' EP appeared as an enhanced-CD in 2005, on Vespertine & Son, including two slideshow videos. The title track of the EP was taken from third album 'All My Bad Thoughts' which appeared on Vespertine & Son in 2005.
Roger initially released records from 1995 as Quigley - beginning with the 'A Kind Of Loving' CD-EP on Croissant Neuf, in 1995, and in 1996 by on one side of the 10" 'Spring Will Be A Little Late This Year', split with Lazerboy. Taking new name, <a href="spotify:artist:5hLw6GzkH7wfqpDPJZI0RG" data-name="At Swim Two Birds">At Swim Two Birds</a> Roger released three albums 'Quigley's Point' (2003), 'Returning To The Scene of the Crime' (2007), and 'Before You Left' (2009).
Otto Smart has recorded as 'The Otto Show', with albums on Vespertine & son & Annika Records. He releases new material on his Soundcloud page.
Mark Tranmer has released records in his own name, and as <a href="spotify:artist:734g2HwpC9EwQjLZgBUOnU" data-name="GNAC">GNAC</a> He has collaborated with pianist Alessandra Celletti; with Ian Masters ( <a href="spotify:artist:0WY2ddzQUF9eh16GiqrElA" data-name="Pale Saints">Pale Saints</a> ) as "Wingdisk"; and with James Hackett ( <a href="spotify:artist:6W8VbSclDd31QHMBwoC84H" data-name="The Orchids">The Orchids</a> ) as <a href="spotify:artist:2KjgTloaQ8KseS6QWGSqf6" data-name="Vetchinsky Settings">Vetchinsky Settings</a>
