Formed in 1980 by former MISFITS Guitarist, Bobby Steele (Horror Business, Night Of The Living Dead, London Dungeon), THE UNDEAD has been a force for underground, true independent Punk Rock for over 40 years . Their debut at the legendary A7 Club is often credited as the birth of NYC's East Village music scene.
Unlike most other bands of the genre - THE UNDEAD's music blends Hardcore/Pop/Surf/Metal and 50's Doo Wop into a cohesive sound that is purely THE UNDEAD.
They're latest release - Act Your Rage...Again, revisits their groundbreaking 1989 self-released album that sold out its first pressing of 7,000 units on its day of release, and broke the 10,000 mark within a few months... angering the labels who'd rejected the now influential album. Act Your Rage...Again features guest appearances from members of some of Punk and Metal's most notable bands. One listen and you'll be hooked on their catchy, infectious sound.
