The Unkool Hillbillies is a Swedish rock-and-roll band, established in 2003. The band is fronted by boogie-woogie flavoured pianist Anders Umegård and delivers a thrilling mix of rock-a-billy, blues and rock'n'roll, often compared to <a href="spotify:artist:5dr7fkIRO4K14g7U8SCue5" data-name="The Blasters">The Blasters</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6zmLTiN3NBNCDECRbbJKkT" data-name="The Fabulous Thunderbirds">The Fabulous Thunderbirds</a>. Main influeces are otherwise the roots music pioneers like <a href="spotify:artist:2zyz0VJqrDXeFDIyrfVXSo" data-name="Jerry Lee Lewis">Jerry Lee Lewis</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1eYhYunlNJlDoQhtYBvPsi" data-name="Ray Charles">Ray Charles</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:293zczrfYafIItmnmM3coR" data-name="Chuck Berry">Chuck Berry</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1FClsNYBUoNFtGgzeG74dW" data-name="Hank Williams">Hank Williams</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0wYcRO9uOuCpQZ8qrQ1uRT" data-name="Sonny Burgess">Sonny Burgess</a>. The band is an acclaimed live act and has toured frequently in Europe and USA. They have released five albums to this date and are also known for the collaboration with Karin Johansson, who can be heard on some of the bands best known numbers like <a href="spotify:track:12YnNorT2LPrRgGfOtaFC9" data-name="You´re The One">You´re The One</a> and <a href="spotify:track:1LF1UeCf1mUhNp2h56cqb0" data-name="Bad Investment Blues">Bad Investment Blues</a>.
