The Vapor Caves

The Vapor Caves are a Texas-bred modern funk outfit led by vocalist <a href="spotify:artist:0OZDnnzHPxwDfwBC9xrsqm" data-name="Yadira Brown">Yadira Brown</a>, with <a href="spotify:artist:6Loz05MU0BtFRlvtCYSpWc" data-name="BoomBaptist">BoomBaptist</a> handling production. A “vapor cave” is a rarity in nature, found underground, billowing mineral-rich steam known for its magical healing properties. The duo proudly pays homage to this natural phenomenon, synthesizing medicine for those who enter.

Their debut release, <a href="spotify:album:6R6tr0pHXE2USnaA5qzBJE" data-name="Feel Yourself">Feel Yourself</a>, became a cult classic in the modern funk genre, selling out their record and landing Spotify&#39;s editorial playlist <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX6Rl8uES4jYu" data-name="Ready for the Day">Ready for the Day</a> with their single <a href="spotify:track:1D4uFMYD25cfnYXIXnJhN7" data-name="Hurry Up and Wait">Hurry Up and Wait</a>. Their debut record was followed by a North American tour, supporting funk legend, <a href="spotify:artist:1AEcpjnSCmm53IBZQo3g9z" data-name="DāM-FunK">DāM-FunK</a>, &amp; a number of placements on Comedy Central, among other television shows.

After finishing some covers of sought-after funk via the Chicago imprint <a href="spotify:playlist:3Yy5JksVpLv9fzxDXdJ6uj" data-name="Star Creature Universal Vibrations">Star Creature Universal Vibrations</a> and a recent journey into house and funk ballads on Italian label <a href="spotify:artist:7t71EyKcDTtGXsmxvb9aRM" data-name="The Sleepers RecordZ">The Sleepers RecordZ</a>, they are currently working on their follow-up LP to &#34;<a href="spotify:album:6R6tr0pHXE2USnaA5qzBJE" data-name="Feel Yourself">Feel Yourself</a>&#34;.
