Hey! I am Thelma from Queensland, Australia.
I grew up in church, with my parents being pastors, and have travelled a little over the years as we’ve moved for their ministry.
In 2016, I married my favourite person (His name is Joshua) and we now live on the Sunny coast where we serve in full-time missions.
I have always loved to sing, and when I was 15 I started playing guitar. I was inspired by bands like Relient K, and Needtobreathe and started writing my own songs once I knew enough chords.
Alex and I completed a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) school over in New Zealand at the beginning of the year. We were chillin’ after class one day, and this is when the Lord just dropped the lyrics and chords for “Take me to the river”. We never sat down with the intention of writing a song, but Jesus had other ideas! We are so grateful for all the lives that have been impacted and the love that has been shared so far, even before the song was officially released!
