Born and raised in Spring, Texas, Zahriya Zachary joined the Bethel Music collective in 2021. Although Zahriya didn’t come from a musical family, her love of music began at an early age while learning to play the piano. While pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Texas Tech, she began volunteering on her church’s worship team while learning more about what it means to have a worshiper’s heart.
Zahriya made her Bethel Music debut on the Homecoming (2021) record leading the song, “Back To Life,” and is featured on“Hymn Of Heaven” with Brian Johnson. Zachary’s debut solo single, “Simple Ways,” released in 2022, followed by her appearance on Bethel Music’s album Come Up Here (2023) leading “Surrounded By Holy,” and “If The Lord” on the collective’s album We Must Respond (2025). Most recently, Zahriya released three consecutive singles—“Better Than I Thought,” “Shine On Me,” and “Stay”—all leading up to her debut full-length album, Rediscovery. Zahriya believes that worship is the place where we belong; it’s the most natural and innate thing that the Lord has called us to do, and it doesn’t have to look like music either–it can look like so many things. Her hope and prayer is that when she leads worship, people will forget about her, and be brought straight to the feet of Jesus.
