Tin Pan started in the streets and public spaces of New York City in 2008. They found a music rooted in New Orleans and traditional jazz with a rock 'n' roll delivery. Think Ray Charles meets Tom Waites in a dive bar. Before too long they were some of the best buskers in the world selling over 40,000 CDs in the street! Tour of Europe and Asia ensued and Jesse, the bands founder and leader, wound up living in Turkey.
Since 2018, Tin Pan Türkiye, has been THE go to swing dance band in Turkey. Tin Pan's latest release, "Marshmallow Heart, Songs for Swing Dancers" is a gift back to the Swing Dance / Lindy Hop communities that have long appreciated and supported our musical lives!!
