Tjsarx (Daniel Timi Aiyedogbon) is a US-based multi-disciplinary artist, saxophonist, and entrepreneur pioneering the sound of Afrogospel. His name, an acronym for Saved & Redeemed by the Cross, reflects the heart of his artistry—faith, authenticity, and impact.
Raised in Kaduna by pastor parents, Tjsarx began playing the saxophone at just six years old and sang in his church choir, experiences that shaped his signature fusion of Afrobeats, orchestral layers, and gospel roots—often described as “Afroclassic.”
What started as a “beautiful accident” in 2016 quickly evolved into an international career, with Tjsarx performing across Africa, the US, and Europe, and collaborating on multiple levels with leading artists including Limoblaze, Ryan Ofei, CalledOut Music, Tim Godfrey, and more.
His music—described as “music that tastes like water”—has earned him placements on top streaming editorial playlists and charted in over 30 countries worldwide. Beyond his artistry, Tjsarx leads initiatives like Spirit & Life Experience, Spirit & Life Collective, and Godly Conversations, driving the global Afrogospel movement forward.
With resilience, consistency, and an unmistakable sound, Tjsarx is redefining the future of gospel music on a global stage.
