Tom Pigott-Smith is one of the UKs busiest musicians, working across the most diverse and eclectic genres. He appears regularly on the concert platform and in the recording studio where he regularly leads orchestras for film, television and commercial music. Most recent credits include leading orchestras for Good Omens & Inside Man (David Arnold), A Quiet Place (Alexis Grapsas) The 355 & Rebel Moon 1&2 (Tom Holkenborg), Zac Znyder's Justice League, Godzilla Kings and Monsters, Rocketman, Ken Loach's 'Sorry we Missed You' (George Fenton) and as a featured soloist on 'Abominable' (Rupert Gregson-Williams). Max Richter's score for "My Brilliant Friend" includes his solo violin playing, as does Peter Gregson's album "Patina". Recent commmercial recordings include leading orchestras on Sophie Ellis Bextor's forthcoming disco album, Nick Cave's album Ghosteen, Jessie Ware's new album conducted by Jules Buckley and the Grammy nominated, Oscar winning song "I'm Gonna Love me Again" by Elton John conducted by Ben Foster, produced by Giles Martin. His orchestration credits include The Heart Suite (commisioned by the Hallé orchestra) composed by long time collaborator, the wonderful Nitin Sawhney. As an arranger his work appears on records by McFly, Nakhane, Chrissie Hynde, Jonny Muir and many others.
