Founded in 1988 in Athens, GA, Noteworthy is still UGA's only all-treble a cappella ensemble. Each member is passionate about achieving vocal excellence and producing riveting performances, and dedicated towards ensuring the group remains unified and student-led.
Throughout the years, Noteworthy has jumped to the top of collegiate charts with multiple selections in BOCA (Best of Collegiate a Cappella) and nominations for the CARA awards.
In 2013, Noteworthy received two awards in the regional quarterfinals of Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella: Best Vocal Percussionist and Third Place Ensemble.
In 2017, Noteworthy received 2nd place in the regional quarterfinals Varsity Vocals' International Championship of Collegiate a Cappella and moved on to semifinals.
Currently, Noteworthy continues to perform at various events around campus and the greater Athens community, spreading their love for music to all they can!
