<a href="spotify:artist:5LEUigTSXpwrtERRcSW1N4" data-name="Urge Overkill">Urge Overkill</a> is comprised of Roeser and Kato, two Minnesota natives who met at Northwestern University. The band formed in 1984, with their debut EP Strange I… on Steve Albini’s Ruthless Records.

Soon after, Quentin Tarantino picked Stull’s “Girl, You’ll Be A Woman Soon” for inclusion in his upcoming film Pulp Fiction. Kato and Roeser reunited in 2010 for Tarantino’s Friar’s Club Roast, and sat on the podium alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman. Two years later, <a href="spotify:album:5sET9SUW0riE37irt4cHzE" data-name="Rock&Roll Submarine">Rock&Roll Submarine</a> was released.
