Vaughan Jones is a violinist, violist, arranger and composer. As a performer, he is particularly interested in rediscovering and reviving music from the 18th and 19th centuries that has fallen into neglect. Vaughan is committed to these so-called lesser composers who helped shape the history of classical music and wrote much wonderful and varied music. In addition, Vaughan has arranged and recorded 47 Christmas carols for string quartet (which can be listened to by visiting the Manor House String Quartet page). He has also written and performed for two other albums entitled 'Music For Healing, Relaxation and Massage' and 'Little Star Lullabies (Relaxing Instrumental Music to Help Babies and Children Sleep)'. These offer something truly unique: music for relaxation performed by real-life classical ensembles and featuring piano, flute, recorder, oboe, cor anglais, harp, glockenspiel, and a full string orchestra.
