Vilde Bye

Vilde Bye is a young singer songwriter from Tromsø, who has already managed to make a name for herself both in her hometown Tromsø, as well as in the rest of the country.




Vilde writes her own songs and adds her live sets with some tasty cover songs transformed to her own, given her very distinctive voice and her superb guitar picking. Americana, pop, rock and soul are clearly close to her musical heart, while Vilde's own music mixes seamlessly between the different genres.




In April 2022, she released her self-titled debut EP, to great reviews in the national press, and the following summer she performed a series of festivals and club gigs around the country, as well as in Denmark; with both solo gigs, as a duo, as a trio and with a full band. In 2023 she played several gigs all over the country, both festivals and club gigs.




2023 was a particularly active year, where Vilde played several concerts, mostly as a duo. She has already been booked to several festivals across the country this coming summer, and the coolest of things: In September 2024 she will release her debut full length album, which is finished recorded in Oslo with the highly respected and critically acclaimed Torgeir Waldemar as a producer.




The record is set to be released on all formats in September 2024. A couple of singles will be put out before that, as well as a split single with her friend, collaborator and artist Dag Vagle.
