Yellow Trash Can (YTC), is an alternative band / production duo consisting of <a href="spotify:artist:7lZARRiCDg6IVkP9qj6Czj" data-name="Jitta On The Track">Jitta On The Track</a> and Jason Navarrete. Debuting their first single “Populated”, in the summer of 2020, they’ve since released over 80 tracks that they’ve produced &/or written, all while living separately in LA & Portland.
Their first body of work, “Everything is Trash”, a collaboration between YTC & <a href="spotify:artist:3aGFCoR8xGN6DKwvdzeSja" data-name="ILOVEMAKONNEN">ILOVEMAKONNEN</a> , was featured on Complex twice, leading to their second collaborations on Makonnen’s album “<a href="spotify:album:1BeaAglexw3bY5VLAvktV4" data-name="Summer '22">Summer '22</a>". “Fortune Teller”, a collaborative EP with Nova released the same summer, following their single “Manifest” that landed NMF at the beginning of the year. Ending 2022, <a href="spotify:artist:3aGFCoR8xGN6DKwvdzeSja" data-name="ILOVEMAKONNEN">ILOVEMAKONNEN</a> releases his project <a href="spotify:album:6KNzZ3xb73XWtSlKM3arI0" data-name="Stay Hydrated">Stay Hydrated</a>, produced by YTC & <a href="spotify:artist:7xuicyp5sig52BFYk14qJE" data-name="Samuel Terrazzino">Samuel Terrazzino</a>.
YTC produced "<a href="spotify:album:0sy5zTEXULEyswNOxnAoLU" data-name="Pedi">Pedi</a>" for <a href="spotify:artist:3IJ21966TwNZI24MwZHMu4" data-name="Baby Tate">Baby Tate</a>, the lead single off her new mixtape <a href="spotify:album:1PggRLfABCLlNktVA64NDh" data-name="Mani/Pedi">Mani/Pedi</a>, which landed on FIFA23.
YTC is currently working on their own album, to release 2023, filled with nostalgia-driven sonics mixed with a modern-day bounce, covering all grounds from alternative rock to poppy disco. A true marriage of genres.
