ymprl (pronounced "im·peeuh·ree·uhl") is an electronic artist and record producer hailing from Sofia, Bulgaria. Growing up during the so-called “Golden Era of SoundCloud” he draws inspiration from the sound of producers such as Kaytranada, Troyboi, Flume and Kenny Beats.
ymprl, who spent a year studying music production at BIMM Berlin, released his critically acclaimed EP Daydreaming in collaboration with fellow Bulgarian artist Victor Aithen in 2023. The project currently sits at more than 10 millions streams across all digital streaming platforms and earned spots on high-profile editorial playlists on Apple Music, Tidal, and Deezer, as well as regular rotation on SiriusXM Chill. His music has been featured on music blogs such as Acid Stag, Podcart and Stereofox, as well as BBC Radio 1 and 6.
Apart from his releases as a solo artist, ymprl has been heavily involved in Bulgaria’s Pop, Hip-Hop and RNB scene, working on songs for some of the country’s top artists.
