David Leonard is a Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning Christian artist, songwriter, and producer known for crafting deeply honest, worshipful music. Beginning as the frontman of Jackson Waters and later touring with NEEDTOBREATHE, he rose to prominence as one half of the worship duo All Sons & Daughters, writing beloved songs like “Great Are You Lord”, “Christ Be All Around Me”, and “All the Poor and Powerless.”
After the duo disbanded, David launched his solo career with The Wait (2019), followed by Plans (2023), and the intimate worship album Just Jesus (2025), recorded in a remote Tennessee cabin. His work reflects a blend of vulnerability, spiritual depth, and musical excellence.
