‘07年1月に結成、エレクトロ・デュオ。DJユニットとして活動をスタートし、様々な国内外アーティストとの共演を経て楽曲制作を開始。オリジナル楽曲やリミックスがSNSを通じて話題となり、初期作品集の12”シングル『DISDRIVE EP』(2008/04)は即完売を記録。以後、フル・アルバム6作品、リミックス集やダンス・トラック集をリリースし、DJやライブアクトとして国内外の様々なイベント、ビッグ・フェスにも出演。数多くのリミックスやプロデュースを手掛け、シーンの垣根を越えて活躍を続けている。
80KIDZ are Japanese electronic music duo formed in January 2007. Early of their stage as an artist, 80KIDZ has aimed to fusion genres as their predecessor. They have been featured in the well renown French music label KITSUNE in their Kitsuné Maison Compilation 7. Their collaboration has gone international with collaborators such as; Lovefoxxx of Brazilian punk dance band CSS, French singer Benjamin Diamond, Ann Saunderson a.k.a Inner City / Octave One, Antoine Hilaire of Jamaica, French duo The Shoes and much more. In the recent years, they have been actively collaborating with artists from Japan who are presenting their music to Asia and the rest of the world, and their songs have been picked up by Spotify “New Music Friday” and other playlists in Asian countries.
