Alas The Sun formed back in January of 2017. The duo moves between indie and guitar pop. At times broad and spherical, at times intimate and quiet, softly plucked guitars sit beside drums and synthesizers. A balancing act that the band masters effortlessly. Alas The Sun released their debut album ‘You And Your Love’ in the fall of 2019 via Taxi Gauche Records. After a turbulent 2020 including a line-up change, the band is finally back on track. Nuria Thie is the new frontwoman alongside Sandro Raschle. The musical road trip continues with the band’s sophomore album ‘Wild Honey Inn‘.
