Born to a Brazilian mother in Miami, <a href="spotify:artist:4BoBwZFmzlSepZqWiok2Z9" data-name="Anakelly">Anakelly</a> has being bouncing to the swinging beats of bossa nova since she was a child. Her career took off when she was invited to participate in the multiplatinum album <a href="spotify:album:6fpDCF0v1qTzONOmBhqhRO" data-name="Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition)">Bossa N' Stones (Limited Edition)</a> with a very special version of <a href="spotify:track:3a3WkFkamEZsGsjnymi3hy" data-name="Under My Thumb">Under My Thumb</a>, one of the album’s singles and most played tracks. It was there that she met and befriended <a href="spotify:artist:6Q5cnVb5SfF6RWedEp57Al" data-name="Michelle Simonal">Michelle Simonal</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:6MVeEwYSJUvwwYfUVPeZ6Y" data-name="Stella Starlight Trio">Stella Starlight Trio</a> who she says is one of her favorite jazz acts. Her love of all things reggae landed her a spot on the subsequent album of the series and she has been crooning ever since.
