Freedom Dub's roots can be found in their much loved bossa nova covers of the Rolling Stones and Bob Marley. They were first invited to the project by good friends Amazonics and it was a perfect match. A group of musicians with guest vocalists, Freedom Dub's biggest hit to date has been their version of Goyte's Somebody That I Used to Know.Their take on this major hit was released on their album, Chilling Effect. Sixth Finger has invited them to collaborate in the past, which they always enjoy. Freedom Dub is always on the lookout for the next major radio hit they can rip on and when not in their LA studio jamming, they can usually be found hitting the waves at Zuma beach.
