The brainchild of two aspiring musicians, one American and the other Argentine and a friend with access to a good studio, Stereo Dub has been creating masterpieces since the early 2000s. However as they watched the success of friends like <a href="spotify:artist:62G1LvBKkkl7sLHqrGbAcp" data-name="Dual Sessions">Dual Sessions</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4gus7u7NSeJ3OGIhOnNgIr" data-name="Ituana">Ituana</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2BSOOFVatoOmhdtcN0k1cP" data-name="Urselle">Urselle</a> who were developing unique versions of pop classics, they decided to give it a try as well. The friend with the connections came through again and this time they got the chance to record with the formidable <a href="spotify:artist:2d5lQo9YQ1DkAsBKTRp7Iu" data-name="Karen Souza">Karen Souza</a> to help her create her acoustic version of Capital Cities hit <a href="spotify:track:2DRP307XpbGWWTXd53JBbm" data-name="Safe and Sound">Safe and Sound</a>.
