BENI’s bicultural upbringing inspired the creation of her million copy best selling cover album series’s most recent release “COVERS the city,” in which, she creates a rearrangement of Japanese classics, translating and transforming mega-hits into her very own urban sound.
In the summer of 2018, BENI started her promotion for her newest album, “Cinematic”, accompanied by a monthly stream of singles “Chasin’” featuring Japanese rapper IO, from the upcoming hip hop collective Kandytown, ambient progressive R&B “PULLBACK”, “No one else like you” an acoustic duet with international singer-songwriter Michael Kaneko, finally announcing her lead single “LAST LOVE LETTER” prior to the full album release.
