BLANKO is an artist who breathes music. As a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, he creates his unique sound entirely on his own. After the successful releases of ‘music by BLANKO’ (2022) and ‘MORE music by BLANKO’ (2023), he takes his career to the next level with his third studio album, VIDEO RAINBOW,
VIDEO RAINBOW feels like a journey through music history, with BLANKO blending styles and influences into a fresh, layered sound. Think of a mix of Bleachers, Dan Auerbach, JJ Cale, and Sam Fender, combined with his signature guitar playing and thoughtful lyrics. The result is an immersive album that feels both nostalgic and innovative.
After previous performances in venues such as De Melkweg and Tivoli, BLANKO played his first headline concert at Paradiso, Amsterdam, on January 30, 2025. A sold out performance where everything came together: music, passion, and energy.
On april 11 BLANKO released his new single 'Just let it out (duet version) with friend and collaborator Miche from the band Lorem Ipsum.
'Just let it out (duet version)' was also released as a Vinyl single on Record store day as one of the exclusive RSD-label releases. Think of talking heads and Blondie coming together to write a new song. You'll be in the ballpark of how the new single sounds. Go check it out for yourself!
