The duo of soul singers Bobby King and <a href="spotify:artist:2pRTJxkj9tgEe7A4CCQdFt">Terry Evans</a> first teamed on the Los Angeles club circuit of the early '70s; both also enjoyed prolific session careers, and in 1974 lent their distinctive harmonies to <a href="spotify:artist:1CPwHx5lgVxv0rfcp7UXLx">Ry Cooder</a>'s Paradise and Lunch, the first in a series of collaborations with the acclaimed guitarist.
