Former Roadrunner and Tommy Boy / Warner Brothers recording artists Boiler Room are back! Originally formed in 1996 in New York City, Boiler Room released several albums in the late 90’s / early 2000’s touring through the U.S. and Europe. After a multi-decade hiatus, lead singer Chris Lino reformed the lineup and re-recorded some old gems and new music. Why?
"I felt that some of the songs from the old Boiler Room days didn't get a fair shot, and I wanted to give some of them their proper due. These songs are as relevant now as they were then. Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat) and I wrote these songs together, and we had great chemistry. I also have been inspired to write new material and that creative spark is alive and well. The creative atmosphere of this lineup is meshing very well, and we already have additional material. Lyrically, I have more to express.”
