“Briewe uit die argiewe” is a collection of songs written all in the last 4 years of his life. It’s stories that were archived during a very tough personal time for Bouwer. Songs are medicine, and this new album is the medicine Bouwer needed for himself, but also needed to share for all the broken souls out there like himself.
WHO IS BOUWER BOSCH
Born in the 80’s, Bouwer Bosch has always had a bit of an old soul to him. Growing up in the small town of Potchefstroom, Bouwer started dabbling in words and poetry from a young age and finally got the chance to sing and scream all the stories inside of him with his rock band Straatligkinders that took South Africa by storm in 2007. His vulnerability has always been one of his strongest attributes when it comes to writing lyrics and he is not scared to lay it all out for his listeners to dissect.
