Brass Monkey's first 2 singles "Breadline" & "Nowhere" are bluesy, grunge inspired rock. Both tracks seek to vent the pressure cooker of emotions felt by those left behind in modern Britain. His new single "Miracle" is an optimistic love song in a time we all need a little cheer.

After being debuted by Spark Sunderland and Valley FM in Australia almost simultaneously, "Breadline" received national airtime on Union Jack Radio's "Underdogs." It then went on to receive commended entry status in the UK Songwriting Competition & be played in Canada, Germany, France and the US where it placed at number 1 in the WKW 98.6AM CRAM Top 40. It later reached #3 in the COOLTOP20 & 7 in the etunesUK Top 25.

"Nowhere" later received similar airtime & reached number 3 in both the KB Radio Canada Top 25 and the WKW 98.6AM CRAM Top 40. It also reached number 4 in both the Banks Radio Australia top 15 & the etunesUK top 25. Both singles were included in Radio TFSCs "Pick of the Week.

"Miracle" reached no 1 on the Radio TFSC Top24.

He supported Ryan McCombs at Think Tank, Newcastle and headlined at Riverside, Newcastle.
