A deep appreciation for the art Cheque is unapologetic in his journey into sound. Carving out a niche for himself early days in university as a major talent. He gained popularity with Freestyle covers he put out on social media and He signed with Phyno Penthauze label in 2018. Penthauze released 3 singles Abundance , Jekasoro and Pain Away , each song in a different Genre of music and showing his diversity. We went on to release a freestyle titled “Energy” Songwriter/Singer/Rapper ... Cheque is at the fore front of new sounds from Africa with a versatile style infused with Afrobeats, RnB, Hip-Hop and Dancehall .
The last quarter of 2019 saw Cheque on feature on the track Recognise off Phyno Deal with It Album and also on the "War Lords" off Olamide 999 Album . Cheque is scheduled to drop his debut EP titled "Razor" on the 3rd of July 2020 under the Penthauze Imprint.
