Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, widely recognized as Vector Tha Viper, is a renowned artist in the Nigerian Hip hop scene. He has three studio albums to his credit: "State of Surprise" (SOS 2010), "The Second Coming" (2012), and "Lafiaji" (2016). In the lead-up to his second album, he unveiled a mixtape called "Bar Racks". His third album, "Lafiaji", featured the prominent artist D'banj on the track "I Pray" and was released in December 2016.
In 2009, Vector lent his voice to a Sprite commercial that was broadcast on numerous radio stations throughout Nigeria. He also held the position of creative director and class master for Hennessy VS Class Nigeria, and was the face of Hip-Hop for Hennessy Artistry Nigeria in 2015.
Vector's breakthrough into the mainstream came with the release of the music video for "Get Down", a track featuring 2Baba from his debut album "State of Surprise", in June 2011. Following this success, he released "Born Leader", a track featuring Mavado of DJ Khaled's We the Best Music Group. This was the third single from his second album, "The Second Coming". The music video for "Born Leader" was shot in Miami, Florida, under the direction of Antwan Smith. In August 2013, Vector collaborated with producer Pheelz on the track "Popular", which received extensive airplay on Nigerian radio stations.
