Heading into the latter half of a decade together, Problem Patterns are well-seasoned and only getting weirder. Refusing the notion of softening with age, the band are constantly pushing themselves through their musical output whilst keeping their roots political and feminist.
Winners of the Northern Ireland Music Prize in 2024, 2025 has seen the band head to international stages with NXNE in Toronto, Canada and Motel Mozaique in Rotterdam, NL. Known for their lively performances, they have supported the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:2n6FviARgtjjimZXu18uRM" data-name="Le Tigre">Le Tigre</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6XgIk9Y6qy6JCMZVime6DQ" data-name="Bob Vylan">Bob Vylan</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2bt3I0VkmYuPvP57sxokab" data-name="Stiff Little Fingers">Stiff Little Fingers</a>, with festival appearances including Glastonbury, 2000Trees and Other Voices.
Their latest EP, Boring Songs For Boring People, highlights the band’s collective musical growth while not shying away from the outspoken, chaotic spirit they’ve become renowned for.
