Colonel Loud is notoriously known for his single “California”, produced by Super Producer Mr. Hanky with Ricco Barrino and featuring Young Dolph, which climbed the Billboard charts in 2015 to number 8. The single also has multiple remixes, such as a West Coast version featuring Snoop Dogg and Too $hort, a Third Coast version featuring Bun B and Paul Wall, and a second East Coast version featuring The Lox. By 2016, it picked up ending movie on the “Keanu” soundtrack (directed by Micheal Key and Jordan Peele). In 2017 Colonel Loud was inducted as an ASCAP Honoree in the 30th ASCAP Music Awards. To date, the California singles video has more than 19 million views. In 2019 Colonel Loud released “Tell Me” featuring his R&B Soul Brother Ricco Barrino and West Coast legend E-40. In 2021 Super Producer Mr. Hanky and Colonel made magic once again and re-released the single “Serious” with Ricco Barrino and a remix with Fantasia Barrino.
Over Summer 2021, “Serious” climbed radio charts from a number 98 position to Top 20 and is still climbing.
