Philadelphia native Guordan Banks is a songwriter and contemporary R&B balladeer with a smooth, mildly raspy delivery honed from years singing in church choir. While pursuing a career as a lawyer, Banks switched his focus to music. Early single "One Day" echoed the style of <a href="spotify:artist:5y2Xq6xcjJb2jVM54GHK3t">John Legend</a>, an artist Banks would later work with. His mood-diverse debut EP/mixtape, A Song for Everyone, appeared in 2014 and featured performances by <a href="spotify:artist:6OkX55UMCw4Hgc5HM4zr7K">Ayo</a> and rappers <a href="spotify:artist:20sxb77xiYeusSH8cVdatc">Meek Mill</a>, Omelly, and <a href="spotify:artist:67nwj3Y5sZQLl72VNUHEYE">Wale</a>. It was released on <a href="spotify:artist:20sxb77xiYeusSH8cVdatc">Mill</a>'s Dream Chasers Records. In addition to his own material, he penned tracks for <a href="spotify:artist:1vfezMIyCr4XUdYRaKIKi3">Keyshia Cole</a> ("Trust and Believe") and <a href="spotify:artist:5y2Xq6xcjJb2jVM54GHK3t">John Legend</a> ("Who Do We Think We Are"), and contributed to <a href="spotify:artist:20sxb77xiYeusSH8cVdatc">Meek Mill</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:5pnbUBPifNnlusY8kTBivi">Jadakiss</a>' "Heaven or Hell." Working independently via his label, <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Bank+on+It+Entertainment%22">Bank on It Entertainment</a>, Banks released the singles "Leanin' On," "We Might Die," and "Keep You in Mind" in 2015. "#WYWDT (Where You Wanna Do This?)" with <a href="spotify:artist:7kFfY4UjNdNyaeUgLIEbIF">DeJ Loaf</a> was issued in 2016, along with the tropical-dance "Revolution," featuring <a href="spotify:artist:6QACkIioo2Na2EKEwJzCKK">E.C.
