Dempagumi.inc
The group was formed mainly by hardcore anime, manga, game hobby enthusiasts who were working for live & bar venue “Akihabara DearStage” that opened in 2007. Under the slogan “Deliver Moe Kyun songs to the world”, they officially launched their career around 2010 in the Akihabara area. After going through numerous lineup changes, they are now a 9 member unit with current members Mirin Furukawa, Risa Aizawa, Ayane Fujisaki, Rin Kaname, Kozue Aikawa, Rito Amasawa, Ria Kobato, Aozora Sorano and Hina Takasaki.
Unlike an idol group, Dempagumi.inc has enthusiastically collaborated with various creators, including collaboration live appearances with MIKIOSAKABE at Tokyo Collection, performing as an opening act for Takashi Murakami’s exhibition in Russia, modelling for Mika Inagawa’s photographs, among many others, attracting attention not only domestically but globally, taking part in fashion events held in countries such as Taipei and Jakarta. In 2015, they embarked on a world tour and won MTV’s “Best Worldwide Act/Best Japan Act”. Dempagumi.inc has also performed at large sports venues such as Nippon Budokan, Yoyogi Daiichi Taiikukan and Makuhari Messe over the years.
