DJ Grumble

Originally hailing from the suburbs of Boston, DJ Grumble has been active as a hip-hop DJ & producer for over 20 years, while simultaneously earning a PhD in chemistry and developing several new medicines to treat cancer. Grumble first gained recognition for his "Freestyle Tools" series of instrumental mixtapes which made their debut on YouTube and DatPiff.com in the late 2000s. Since then, DJ Grumble's productions have been streamed over 500 million times, helping him build a worldwide following of hip-hop lovers. DJ Grumble has produced tracks for RIAA-certified gold and platinum artists such as Ari Lennox and Surfaces, and his work has been featured in TV shows, movies, and video games. Grumble continues to deliver for his fans, having just released his first physical album on vinyl, Freestyle Tools 2024.
