DJ Sdunkero

Dumisani Kunene, popularly know as DJ Sdunkero is a Mpumalanga based Household name in the music/Club scene. The multi talented Dj, producer and executive Director of Groova records started his career in the early 2000s. He signed with House Africa in 2005 and that is when his career took off. His first album Edladleni Volume 1 won SAMA best record of the year. Having released hits such as Maputo Song and Stolen Property, Dj Sdunkero has a reputation as the godfather of house music in Mpumalanga and is proving why he deserving of the title in his latest album.
Now signed under his own record label; Groova Records, DJ Sdunkero has released his 6th album called Sir Groova. The Album showcases the Djs maturity and adaptation over the years and there is definitely more diversity in his music! Listening to the album one is hit with a bit of Afro house when listening to Nothing Sweeter featuring AloeB, Sky is the limit ft Deidree comes across as contemporary and right with all of that you will find some Dance house,deep house and qgom in the song Jub Jub Ft Love joy! There is a song for every mood and occasion with this album. With a total of 21 songs Dj Sdunkero went all out on this one featuring some of the best talent including Aloe B, Wisani, Tash Dime, Mr Chillax just to mention a few.
