Eva Be „grew up“ within the Berlin underground music scene, where she started Djng around Dj Producer collective Jazzanova at the age of 18, soon becoming a constant member of the famous Sonarkollektiv. Her debut album “Moving Without Travelling”on Best Seven/Sonarkollektiv, heavily inspired by Eva Be’s long lasting love of Dub and Reggae, received huge international attention and was a milestone for the Dub / Electronic movement in Berlin, also with thanks to incredible guest musicians like Fat Freddie ́s Drop singer Joe Dukie, Sugar B and Pegah Ferydoni for helping her catch this "special vibe". The album was a logical step and it's release kicked off numerous remixes for well established artists like Horace Andy, Jah Wobble, Giorgio Moroder, Micatone, Recloose, Maertini Broes and Ben Ivory - to mention a few... By the year 2007 Eva ́s musical focus began to evolve towards a more electronic terrain resulting in a succession of dancefloor orientated releases. (have a look at the exciting discography)
Leading up to 2012 Eva aquatinted herself with the legendary Berlin oldschool Dj Cle. The two shared a love for Dub and Electronic thus beginning an epic collaboration both in production and performance, their artistry grew as a duo building a musical partnership that birthed the creation of their current project "LoYoTo". In 2015 both formed their own label LYT Recordings, where they released an experimental Dub album and several EPs .
