Formed in October 2009, in Sikkim, (Now based in Bangalore), Girish and The Chronicles are one of the most prominent and leading names in the Hard Rock/Heavy Metal genre, in India. Drawing inspiration from the Hard Rock/Melodic Metal sound of the ‘80s, the band plans on keeping the legacy alive, with a touch of their own authenticity. GATC have three albums and various singles to their name and have shared stages with renowned acts like Guns N Roses, Skid Row, Nazareth, Alter Bridge, Bullet for My Valentine, Hoobastank, Poets of the Fall, and more over the years, in festivals across Europe and UK.

The band were once again the support act for Guns ‘N’ Roses in Mumbai in 2025.

GATC made history as being the first Rock band from India to be featured on America’s Got Talent on 3rd of June 2025. The audition went viral, bringing in a new fan base for the band.
