GreyC began her musical career as a backup singer for Nigerian veteran musician, Sound Sultan and eventually got signed to his Naija Ninjas label. Since the release of her first ever official single “CLOSER”, GreyC has gone to become one of the strongest female singers and songwriters in Nigeria.
Working with a rich array of artists and producers including Patoranking, who after the success of their collaboration on “CHUKWUMA” signed her under his Amari Musiq label imprint where she released songs such as “BODY ON ME”, “RUDEBOY” and “AIYE”.
GreyC cites Chris Brown, Brandy, Lauren Hill, Jill Scott and Rihanna as key musical influencers of her distinctive blend of Pop, Reggae/ Dancehall infused with traditional Nigerian Afrobeat which has earned her two-time nominations in the category “Rookie of The Year 2014 & 2015” at the prestigious Headies Awards and an award for “Best New Act” at the SCREAM Awards 2016.
Now independent, GreyC is poised to take on the world with her mind-blowing vocals, and master stagecraft.
