HAARM formed in Liverpool in 2016 initially as a song-writing team but then quickly decided that they enjoyed each other's company too much and used the songs they'd been writing together as the foundations of a new band. Since then, the band have toured with Bloc Party, played Radio 1's Big Weekend and have frequently been championed by Radio DJs Huw Stephens, Phil Taggart, Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy and Shell Zenner. Lots of radio play in Europe has meant the band have acquired a large following on the continent, too, particularly in Germany.

Despite the obvious limitations, the band have remained incredibly busy over the last 12 months, rehearsing to tour/record as session musicians for fellow Liverpool-based artists BANNERS and King Hannah, as well as managing to find the time to write their own debut album which is due to be recorded later this year.
