1984年生まれ、茨城県出身のシンガーソングライター。2012年『第三惑星交響曲』でメジャーデビューし、2018年には初のベストアルバム『Huwie Best』を発表。同年、俳優の菅田将暉への提供曲『さよならエレジー』と『虹』がストリーミング３億回再生を超える大ヒットを記録。映画『アズミ・ハルコは行方不明』（2016）『そらのレストラン』（2019）といった映画に出演するなど、役者としても活躍する一方でライブ活動も精力的に展開し、2025年には自身最大規模となるホールツアーを開催。

A singer-songwriter born in 1984 in Ibaraki Prefecture. Made his major debut in 2012 with "Symphony of the Third Planet", and released his first best-of album "Huwie Best" in 2018. That same year, two songs he wrote for actor Masaki Suda—"Sayonara Elegy" and "Niji"—became massive hits, each surpassing 300 million streams. In addition to his musical career, he has also appeared in films such as "Japanese Girls Never Die" (2016) and "Restaurant from the Sky" (2019), showcasing his talent as an actor. He continues to perform actively, and in 2025, he will embark on the largest hall tour of his career.
