Through a blend of glistening vocal pieces, strings of dreamy melodies and distinctive rhythms, Ineffekt cleverly takes on a sound that both feels comfortable and illusive. Releases 'long sleeves' (single, 2024) and 'HEAD FOR THE HILLS' (EP, 2025), as well as a string of remixes including Avalon Emerson's ‘Karaoke Song’ and Fatima Yamaha's ‘What's a Girl to Do’ capture the above. Surrounding themselves with influences from a wide range of contemporary music, it’s not so much aiming for a specific, but reaching for a compromise between eras and stylistically diverse sounds. The past three years of work resulted in esteemed artists and platforms in the left-field embracing his output. Following his debut EP, Ineffekt broadened his horizon by exploring hypermodern contemporary music that resulted in a run of original productions and remixes, including his 2025 record 'HEAD FOR THE HILLS', that have influences from all over the place, most notably electro, house, bass and altpop, as well as hints from a new wave of colorful electronica that has been developing in recent years. Consequently the 24-year-old supported Avalon Emerson, Bicep, Bonobo, Disclosure, Mall Grab and Sammy Virji a.o., as well as performed at Draaimolen, Dekmantel, Lowlands, Horst and prominent dance floors like Panorama Bar, De School, Nitsa, and Club RAUM.
