With Jimi Charles Moody, Alexander-Sule concentrates on old-school soul and <a href="spotify:artist:776Uo845nYHJpNaStv1Ds4">Hendrixian</a> hard rock, thereby proving his pseudonym was well chosen. When he released his first singles, "Other Man" and "The Woman," in 2015, Jimi Charles Moody was shrouded in mystery. There would be press interviews where his identity was protected, and this continued through the 2015 release of the Islington EP. Following the 2015 release of "House of Moody," Harley Alexander-Sule quietly revealed himself as the brains behind Jimi Charles Moody, stating that it was easier to be emotional in a persona.
