Koralle is a musician, beatmaker and producer from Bologna, Italy. Firmly rooted in hip-hop Koralle is taking his jazz crates and field recordings to the studio. Equipped with an array of synths, rhodes and bass he creates deeply textures tracks that touch mind, body and soul.
Since signing to Melting Pot Music in 2019, he has released six projects (all on vinyl), including 'Collecting', 'Fonografie', 'Beat Kiosk' (with Kuranes), the acclaimed 'Eat The Kiwi Skin' (with Isatta Sheriff), 'Insomnia' and 'Bassona' (with Francesco Giampaoli).
Koralle's new album 'Primo Quarto' with friend and neighbour <a href="spotify:artist:5dFzAFmO3MGNTFcAApR6UR" data-name="Yawuh">Yawuh</a> drops Oct 24 on vinyl and digital. 'Primo Quarto' is a record full of late-night tales about beats and jazz (you guessed it) and a musical friendship that manifested itself in an apartment building in Bologna after dark. Thirteen tracks were produced and mixed on the first floor (where Yawuh lives) and on the fourth floor (where Koralle’s studio is located). With the help of an A-list of local musicians (Matteo Magnaterra, Piergiorgio Perrella, Giovanni Tamburini, Gianluca Arcesilai), three MCs from the US (Anti Lilly, Tiff The Gift, Physical Graffiti), and producer friends Saib (Berlin), Phlocalyst (Luz), and Lorenzo Morresi (Milan).
