Freddie Records proudly announces the release of “Ayúdame’, the long-awaited new single from Tejano's premier live band, “The Pride of Pasadena”, LA FIEBRE!
“Ayúdame” is the first new single from La Fiebre in nearly three years. The song was written by Three Rivers, Texas native, Isaac Rodriguez, Jr., and produced by La Fiebre and Freddie Records recording engineer Mariano “Nano” Herrera at the renowned Legends Sound Studios in Corpus Christi. Executive producers for the track are The Martinez Brothers, (Freddie Martinez, Jr., John Martinez, and Marc Martinez).
“Ayúdame” features an uptempo ranchera arrangement combined with La Fiebre’s signature blend of Tejano and Rock. The track explodes with powerful horns provided by La Fiebre co-owner Luis Ayala and long-time member Jonas Flores, a rock-solid rhythm section featuring co-founders Rudy Rocha on guitar and Joe Angel Reynosa on bass, fiery accordion fills from Julian Gonzalez, and a soaring vocal performance from Angel Cantu. The band is rounded out by Joe Lara on drums and percussion.
In addition to a new single, new video, and a forthcoming new album, 2025 will be a landmark year for La Fiebre. The band will be celebrating their 40th Anniversary with a massive show dubbed FIEBRE FEST in their hometown of Pasadena, TX. The band will also be embarking on their 40th Anniversary Tour which will take them to cities throughout the U.S. and Mexico.
