Already a star in his own right MAY D is a Nigerian music artist. A singer, songwriter, composer, choreographer and dancer. He graduated from the University of Lagos with a degree in Mass Communication.
Born Akinmayokun Awodumila (December 28th) in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria where he spent the early part of his childhood before his family moved to Lagos State in South-Western Nigeria.
His father introduced May D to music at an early age where he was exposed to the music of the pop icon Michael Jackson. Before gaining admission into the University he was known more for his dancing skills than his singing.
With his own Label, Confam Entertainment, he has a fierce determination to be Africa’s biggest export in the music industry.
