Like most people, I'm into a pretty wide range of genres. Unlike most people, I don't focus on one scene or style, or have different aliases for different projects. Guess the point I'm trying to make is that 'Mosca' is not some brand I've built, or a stage-name to express a certain side of myself. It's just me, warts and all.
My main thing is pushing club music forward. Dark but playful, experimental, soundsystem-ready trax that melt together grime / electronics / dancehall / baile funk / gqom / dub / hard drum / dembow / jungle / techno / tarraxo / early dubstep / ballroom / UK drill / UK funky / UK bass / b-boy electro / dark garage / IDM / B-more / influences from the middle east, the Caribbean, Africa, South & Central America / noise / no-wave / footwork... u get the picture :)
But I also focus on other projects, all under the name Mosca. I've got a band project for example (just me playing/programming everything) - one for hard, angular, more danceable stuff, one for dark jazz. And a solo piano / soundtrack thing going on. And a primitive/proto computer music project. And some fwd-thinking ambient/out-there stuff. And a super-melancholy dark thing... sorry if it's confusing - real ppl are complicated!
